Good Afternoon, Winston Families!

A little later than usual this week, and I apologize for the delay! I was off for a few days following a wee knee procedure, but I am back and wanted to share a few quick updates before we head into the weekend. 😊

A Huge Thank You for Terry Fox!

Thank you so much for the incredible support of our Terry Fox fundraising efforts! Our Winston community always finds ways to come together for such meaningful causes, and I am so grateful for the generosity, enthusiasm, and school spirit shown by our families. Thank you for helping us continue Terry's legacy and reminding our students of the difference we can make when we come together!

Tomorrow's Pie Assembly!

There is lots of excitement in the building as our students look forward to tomorrow's pie assembly! The anticipation is definitely building, and I have a feeling there will be plenty of smiles, laughter, and excitement as we come together to celebrate with pies in the face!! Thank you to everyone who helped make this fun Winston tradition possible!

Black and Orange Day at Winston!

Friday (tomorrow) is black and orange day here at Winston, and we are going to enjoy a little extra school spirit throughout the building! It is always fun to see our students and staff join in the excitement and bring some colour and energy to our school community.

A Little Reminder for the Weekend

As we head into the weekend, don't forget that the clocks go back one hour on Sunday morning as daylight saving time ends. Enjoy that extra hour of sleep!

I will be back on Monday with a more detailed Winston update, including our November news, upcoming events, and important dates to add to your calendars.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our Winston community. I hope all of our families have a wonderful weekend filled with rest, laughter, and time together!

Happy Almost Friday,
Ms Knowles
